Now they reach the age and maturity, it seems more and more of Generation Y are opening their own business, and most of them, like me, are very good there.

You see, I am one of those "horrible Generation Y" all children who are grown up now. Most of us have become increasingly dissatisfied with working in "traditional" workplaces where we are often misunderstood, leaving us to venture into ours.

Many managers view Gen Y as lazy, easily distracted, demanding and unrealistic expectations, and I do not know how manipulate us. With this lack of understanding is a lack of knowledge about how to prepare a generation and upright, and an inability to manage this group in the right way. The result is they do not get the chance to develop or contribute to expanding our capabilities so that they Simply go to things bigger and better.

This was my situation when I took my first job after graduating University. I met with a strong ambition for success, and the ability to quickly learn new skills, but they lack the freedom to explore these skills because of restrictions imposed on me by my employer, who was not yet fully aware how to get the higher of a staff member of Generation Y.

This frustration fueled my desire for a work environment where I could use the skills I have, I knew it was in the way that I knew was best, to achieve the result I knew I could achieve. It would be my own boss, I needed to start my own business.

The industry that knew best and had the right skill set for design and brand. So I went to register a company and is preparing to have my own graphic design business, and in July 2007, was born GrandBrands.

I started with absolutely nothing in the way of equipment office or customers. What I had, however, was a burning ambition to succeed.

My first business computer was an iMac Apple ex-lease "that I bought on eBay for $ 300. I walked stores printer cheap, and if used eBay once again that my supplier things like my desk chair, no replacement inks for the printer name and various other business equipment.

In a few months thanks this technology simple and used equipment and basic office which has been producing designs for several million dollars in connection with business with agencies throughout the world as if we were sitting next to co-workers like everyone else.

A year later, I used some funds that have accumulated and I started my second company GrandBrands, AstroPrint.com.au. This company Secondly, a website for printing line has been designed to be user-driven sales experience while providing the same level of speed and quality of service that the user might get to meet a typical "storefront" type print provider.

It is the ability to be resourceful like that, and understand how to use technology to bring the total capacity does Gen Y as a formidable candidate for the business. Combine these talents to our effort success and you have a potent recipe for the ideal entrepreneur.

Generation Y grew up with the Internet, from development to its current form, and experienced pace of technological progress which nobody has ever seen before, so we had to develop skills to use technology and adapt to changes and innovations to keep pace.

Although the uniqueness of Generation Y has asked departments human resources to develop strategies to management, changes in technology have radically altered the marketing strategies.

Networking Sites social like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and changing the face of marketing - not only have an online presence more.

Consumers want to know more about you and the social networks present a possibility to communicate with your target market in a way that benefits both parties, is a two-way interactions, not just a selling point as an average Traditional approaches, such as websites and advertising.

From a service position, more companies are turning to online vendors such as AstroPrint because they like having control of the sales process, while qualifying time of faster response compared to traditional operations.

For example, a consumer can go to my site, generating appointments immediate answers to their questions in real time through online chat system, and can also watch the company on Facebook, Twitter and Digg, if you will join us in this way. This type of connection consumers are now insufficient.

To help you better understand Generation Y, and get the best of them, here are some tips:

3. Overall, we are social creatures, so it offers opportunities to meet with staff colleagues and managers on a personal level, is welcome. Some departments Human Resources and administrators are today through clothing casual pub lunch per day, or taken completely out of site staff for team-building exercises or retreats.
